Auxiliary Update (07.31.23)

Dear Auxiliary Members of VFW Post 10406,

I want to take a moment of your time to introduce myself. My name is Kimberly Goss. I'm married to James Goss, we reside in Alma, WI, with our two dogs. We have a blended family with six kids, and 12 grandkids spread out from the west coast to Arizona. We are both retired and find ourselves busier now than when we were working. Jim is also a VFW Life Member, we enjoy being active in the VFW and Auxiliary, our local Modena Sportsman’s Group, and Mondovi Conservation Club. We like to camp or “glamping,” hunt, fish, kayaking, trap shooting, and compete for who’s mowing the lawn next. I've been a Life Member with VFW Post 10406 since October 16, 2017, and working my way up the ladder in various Officer positions.

I'm very excited to be able to step into this new President’s position. I have some new and exciting things I’d like to bring into this group of wonderful auxiliary members while keeping our shared purpose of improving the lives of veterans, service members, their families, and our communities.

The VFW Community is very important to me. As your president, I’d like to maximize participation and welcome each of you to join us at our monthly meetings that take place on the second Thursday of every month at 7:00pm. I'm always open to new ideas or suggestions and would love to hear yours.
